Food support

Food credit, spent the way any order is spent.

Once a charity approves the application, a balance appears in the app and is spent at partner restaurants and markets, pickup or delivery. No cash nor paper vouchers.

Who can register

Registration criteria

The charity responsible for your area studies the application and decides. The platform carries out the decision; it does not make it.

Documents
The recipient’s identity, and evidence of circumstances. These are kept in a separate register that neither the restaurant nor the donor can reach, and every access to them is logged.
Review
Applications are reviewed in order and a written decision follows. If refused, one appeal may be submitted with additional documents.
The balance
Daily for meals, and monthly for the grocery basket where it applies. It cannot be transferred or withdrawn as cash, and renews with each new window.
Household
A head of household may add dependants; once the charity approves them, the household balance is sized weekly to their number.

Privacy

What others see about you: nothing.

At collection, only the order code is shown. Your name does not appear, nor your ID number, nor a programme name, nor a case number. The restaurant sees an order number and its items, exactly like any other order on their screen.

A donor sees that a meal was served, not to whom. This is not information withheld from them; it is the condition that makes accepting support socially costless.
